Anyone who diligently follows Peeces on Instagram should have already found out: For a few days now, as Moe and Leon lovingly describe it, an "intern" has been part of the party. I would see myself more as a consultant, but when it comes to second-hand branded clothing I can still take a lot with me here at Peeces over the next few months.

For those who are less active on Instagram, I'm Nico and I've known the Peeces squad for about 8 years because we spent our school days at the same high school in the neighboring town. Apart from a few points of contact, such as a trip to a country home together, we have had little to do with each other up to now. We became aware of each other through similar interests, including clothing.

I myself am convinced of the concept of finding a new owner for vintage clothing with the help of a second-hand online shop. It was therefore obvious that I would support them here until I started my studies. You can therefore look forward to further joint projects on our Peeces social media channels in the coming months.

My conclusion after the first week so far is that you don't shy away from anything here. Also, don't be afraid to hold highly philosophical conversations about the crucial social issues, such as what you can tinker with the last leftover food before what feels like the annual purchase. Furthermore, I was able to establish that the work here is carried out with impressive perseverance. Because I don't know of a more strenuous work environment than DJ-Moe, who plays the same three songs in a continuous loop for an entire working day without any problems.

For the next few weeks, I'm looking forward to getting a deeper insight into Peeces' everyday work.

Your Nico
